Between archaeology and design, "Jonc doucine" is a collaboration with the latest Parisian metal spinning workshop around techniques and know-how that have disappeared or are in the process of disappearing - metal spinning consists of shaping a metal disc by pushing it against a form, the mandrel. Through the design and production of about fifteen pieces that explore more particularly the methods of assembling formed parts, the project delivers proto forms without function, a technical and aesthetic catalogue that inventories but also opens this know-how to new interpretations.
